Undertow by Jazzy Mitchell
Story of a Kick-Ass Role Model
Jazzy Mitchell has given us a heroine…and perhaps our next president! Love that she gives us a look at the character’s inner conflict. Seems like female politicians are most often portrayed as ambitious to the point that compassion is lost. Not here. Great story.
Musings of a Madwoman by Jazzy Mitchell
Unique and captivating
Once I picked this book up, I couldn’t stop reading it! I lost track of all time and was consumed with reading on to find out how situations would be resolved. The characters are well-developed, intriguing, and personable. I began to relate to them as people that I actually knew and became vested in their lives. Jazzy Mitchell does a magnificent job of weaving the characters together through their shared experience of encountering a meteorite. The story itself is unique, multilayered, and just plain fascinating. Although I have never ventured into this genre of writing before, I am hooked and cannot wait to get my hands on Jazzy Mitchell’s next novel.
Family Secrets Book 2 by EJ Kindred
I bought book two because the cover jumped out at me without realizing it was a series. SO, went back to read the first book, “In Harm’s Way” and was so glad I did. I’m happy to say this series is worth your time if you like mysteries. EJ Kindred does a great job of handling several story threads to keep your interest. I am invested in these characters. Bring on Book Three!
