On January 1, 2023, Jodi Zeramby and Peggy Zeramby took over publishing duties for Launch Point Press (LPP). Peggy brings a business acumen honed by leading an international organization since 2006. Her attention to detail and constant updating of her skills have established her as an innovative, outside-the-box thinker. Jodi has mastered many skills over the years, which have contributed to her becoming a publisher. She graduated from Boston University, earning two degrees—English and Education—simultaneously with honors. While teaching high school English, Jodi attended Suffolk University Law School at night and worked at a law firm in her “spare” time. After moving to Arizona, she taught real estate law to real estate professionals for over a decade, and during that time became a published author.

Since then, Jodi has interviewed authors across the lesfic community and championed writers with the goal of supporting and lifting up others. She’s currently the executive board vice president for OPUS Literary Alliance, a non-profit organization that focuses on advancing literary and educational opportunities for members, preserving their legacies, and celebrating, promoting, and supporting lesbian, women-loving-women, and sapphic literature.

Lori L. Lake created the foundation for LPP in 2014. She “passed the baton” of stewardship to Jodi and Peggy Zeramby, knowing they would continue her vision of producing books by, for, and about lesbian issues, culture, and circumstances. Jodi and Peggy are excited to advocate, support, and attract talented writers who seek to publish stories that expand their readers’ perspectives.

LPP is dedicated to publishing high-quality fiction books that center on the experiences of lesbian characters. Our mission is to elevate lesbian voices and stories and provide representation for the LGBTQ+ community in the publishing industry. We believe that everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in the books they read, and that is why we strive to create inclusive and diverse stories that resonate with our readers. Our books cover a range of genres, including romance, mystery, thriller, historical fiction, literary fiction, and more. We work with both established and emerging writers who share our passion for telling compelling stories that feature lesbian protagonists.

At LPP, we believe in building long-lasting relationships with our authors, readers, and the larger lesfic community. On January 1, 2025, Jodi and Peggy became the new publishers for Desert Palm Press (DPP). Both presses are sister presses. We collaborate, cooperate, and assist one another in this crazy world of independent, small-press publishing. That won’t change. As sister presses, DPP and LPP are tremendous resources for one another. Both publishing houses will remain separate imprints, and they will continue to produce quality books you will love to read. Watch for their collaboration on livestream events and more.

Thank you for visiting our “About Us” page. We hope you will join us on our journey to promote diversity and representation in the publishing industry.
